Bio
Powered by a love for music, Flight's Kool — a name inspired by one of its members' desire to become a helicopter pilot has generated a local buzz with its different levels of rhythms infusing Hip Hop, Reggae, bluegrass, and rock.
The band started when Cerami and Chris Ell created a local buzz immediately after recording an acoustic demo in summer 2006. By 2007, they recruited a full band and went on to open for Badfish, a Sublime tribute band, and Bob Marley's Legendary Wailers. 2008 was the release of their 1st album Infestation leading to performances at House of Blues, Atlantic City, the Electric Factory Philadelphia, and more. In summer of 2010 at the Stone Pony, Asbury Park NJ, FlightsKool shared the stage with the Dirty Heads and the Real Sublime with Rome.
FlightsKool joined forces with producer Chris Dibeneditto who is known for producing bands such as Slightly Stoopid and G.Love and the Special Sauce. New songs will be released in 2011.
